Therasource was created by two Registered Social Worker Psychotherapists who spent years noticing the same gap in care: meaningful support shouldn't begin and end in a single appointment. Clients were often looking for trusted ways to continue learning, reflecting, and building on the work happening in session, whether through books, worksheets, courses, handouts, podcasts, or practical tools they could return to between visits. At the same time, many could benefit from a broader network of support, from dietitians and physiotherapists to osteopaths and other complementary practitioners, yet navigating care often felt fragmented and siloed.
We had our own curated source of trusted resources and referral networks, but knew there was so much more incredible practitioner-created content and expertise out there, with no single place to confidently direct people. So we built Therasource: a platform designed to connect individuals to registered healthcare practitioners and evidence-informed resources that support growth, wellbeing, and continuity of care between sessions and interventions.
Therasource helps people access more connected, holistic care- bringing together trusted professionals and high-quality resources in one place. Practitioners on Therasource share their professional background, training, and registration information so users can make informed decisions about who they're learning from or working with. Every resource, whether a course, workbook, guide, or reflection, is created by professionals grounded in real-world practice.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, improving your relationship with food, recovering from injury, supporting a child, managing stress, or simply trying to understand yourself better, Therasource exists to help you build a network of support that extends beyond a single appointment.
Because meaningful care doesn't happen in isolation, and neither should support.
