1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Therasource platform, including the websites at therasource.ca and my.therasource.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including customers who purchase content, practitioners who create and publish content, and visitors who browse the site without an account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Therasource. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Practitioner accounts have additional eligibility requirements, including active licensure with a recognized regulatory college. See Section 6 for practitioner-specific terms.

3. Account Registration

To access purchased content or create content as a practitioner, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Therasource immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Therasource reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are inactive for an extended period.

4. Content & Courses

Therasource hosts digital content including courses, resources, workbooks, guided reflections, and other materials created by licensed practitioners. All content on the platform is intended for educational and informational purposes only.

Content is provided as-is. While all content is created by licensed professionals, Therasource does not guarantee specific outcomes from any course, resource, or material on the platform.

Course content is accessible through the portal at my.therasource.ca. Courses are designed to be consumed online and may not be downloaded, copied, redistributed, or shared without express written permission.

5. Purchases & Payments

Purchases are processed through the Therasource storefront at therasource.ca. All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, and Therasource does not store credit card information directly.

Upon completing a purchase, you will be granted access to the purchased content in your portal account. Access is granted to the purchasing account only and is non-transferable.

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at hello@therasource.ca within 14 days of purchase. Eligibility may depend on the amount of content accessed.

6. Practitioner Terms

Practitioners who create and publish content on Therasource are subject to additional terms outlined in the Therasource Creator Agreement, which is presented during the practitioner onboarding process.

Key provisions include: practitioners must maintain active, in-good-standing licensure for the duration of their account; practitioners retain ownership of their original content; Therasource receives a licence to distribute and display published content; revenue from content sales is split 70/30 in favour of the practitioner; practitioners are responsible for the accuracy and clinical appropriateness of their content.

Therasource reserves the right to review, edit, or remove practitioner content that does not meet platform standards or that raises concerns about accuracy, safety, or professionalism.

7. Intellectual Property

The Therasource name, logo, branding, website design, and platform software are the property of Therasource and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Practitioner-created content remains the intellectual property of the practitioner. By publishing content on Therasource, practitioners grant Therasource a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and market the content on the platform for the duration it remains published.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without the express permission of the content owner.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use the platform in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. Prohibited activities include sharing your account credentials with others, distributing or reselling platform content, attempting to access content you have not purchased, uploading malicious code or content, impersonating another person or entity, and harassing or abusing other users or practitioners.

9. Health Disclaimers

Therasource provides educational and informational content created by licensed professionals. This content is not a substitute for individualized clinical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a mental health professional, visit your nearest emergency room, or call a crisis line in your area. Therasource is not a crisis service and does not provide emergency mental health support.

The content on this platform reflects the professional opinions and clinical perspectives of the individual practitioners who created it. Therasource does not endorse or guarantee the applicability of any specific approach, technique, or recommendation to your individual situation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Therasource, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress.

Therasource's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Therasource in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

Therasource may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform and any purchased content will cease. Therasource is not required to provide refunds upon termination for cause.
